Brushstrokes

Brushstrokes are meditations designed to let our souls breathe together. Offered weekly, brushstrokes seek to inspire us all to look at life more deliberately. Written not by someone with all the answers, but one wanting to ask questions along side others, I hope whatever I offer points readers beyond my words to something, or someone, greater than ourselves.

If you are fed by a particular brushstroke, please let me know and share the reasons why. Also, please share them with others and encourage them to subscribe so our spiritual circle widens.

Advent

November 05, 2026/ Chip Bristol

I recently worked with a wonderful artist named Kelly Rightsell to create an Advent devotional. Based upon the setting up a family nativity scene, it explores Advent piece by piece.

With Advent only a few weeks away, I wanted to send out this reminder and ask that you forward this to anyone you think might like this creative Advent tool.

For those in Greensboro, I have copies, or they are available at The Marshall Muse Gallery. For others, it is available at Amazon.

All profits go to Crayons Matter, a non-profit that seeks to provide art supplies to students/schools who cannot affort them.
